COMPETITION: Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development

TOPIC OF FOCUS FOR 2015: “City of the Future”

MODALITY: Onsite in Germany


DURATION: 2 weeks (in 2015) followed by 3 months (in 2016)

DEADLINES: June 02, 2015 @ 7:00 a.m.


  1. An invitation to visit Germany in 2015 to participate in the fully funded two-week science forum. While touring Germany, the award-winners will have access to top science and research institutions that will offer unique insights into their work
  2. A chance for the award-winners to present themselves and their work in person during individual appointments with experts of their choice (during the two-week science forum)
  3. A fully funded research stay of up to three months at an institution of the award-winner’s choice in 2016
  4. Exclusive access to the “Green Talents Alumni Network” of 130 high-achievers in sustainable development from over 40 countries

Competition Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Strong focus on sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach
  2. Enrollment in or completion of a master’s degree programme or higher
  3. Significantly above-average grades
  4. Up to 32 years of age
  5. Proven excellent command of English
  6. Not a German citizen nor a resident of Germany
